Santa Clarita Wildcats Lacrosse will be hosting a Tournament, Sunday, May 16^th at West Ranch HS. The event will be the first of its’ kind held in the Santa Clarita Valley. The tourney will feature the Wildcats Lacrosse 7/8 graders and teams from Malibu, Newbury Park and other invited teams. Come on out and see the fastest game on two feet.

Wildcats Split Games at Spring Tourney

The Santa Clarita Wildcats participated in a Spring Break tourney on April 10th with teams from Malibu and Calabasas. The Wildcats put on an impressive showing with a hard fought game against Malibu, earning a win with a late goal, 8-7.

The Santa Clarita Wildcats have formed a 7/8 grade boys lacrosse team for the 2010 season. The Wildcats were invited to participate in the Southern California Lacrosse Association.

Lacrosse Growing in SCV

Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing sports in the nation and it is coming to Santa Clarita in 2007. The CIF recognized lacrosse as a high school sport last year and several teams compete throughout the southland. In addition, there are youth programs popping up all over SoCal, from 1000 Oaks to San Diego.
