The Santa Clarita Youth Sports Association announced the addition of the Bradder Golf/TPC Junior Golf Academy as a member of the organization, providing expanded youth athletic services to the Santa Clarita Community. A grand opening and preview for the Junior Gold Academy will be held this Friday at TPC Valencia at 5p.

The Junior Golf Academy at TPC Valencia will provide aspiring golfers with exceptional golf instruction and knowledge of etiquette. Like all SCYSA member organizations, emphasis will be placed on sportsmanship in addition to learning the skills of the game. Students will receive group golf lessons and private instruction, as well as access to play the Mark O’Meara designed TPC Valencia course. At the conclusion of each level of instruction students will pass competency tests in order to progress to the next level. Level 4 will be conducted off site at Pro-Golf Training Center in Valencia where students will undergo Titliest Performance Institute technical instruction. Students will be instructed by a variety of PGA

Professional Golf Instructors with all levels of instruction including practical swing instruction, golf fitness guidance, mental game discipline, course management lessons – as well as golf etiquette and rules of the game instruction.
