Is Jim Kunau out as coach at Orange Lutheran?

OCVarsity.com is reporting that Jim Kunau is out as coach at Orange Lutheran after 19 seasons. But Kunau is also quoted as saying, "I am still the football coach at Orange Lutheran." This is just another indication how schools in the Trinity League demand that their coaches succeed. Kunau guided Orange Lutheran to the Pac-5 title in 2006 with Aaron Corp at quarterback and was known for his innovative offenses. But the Lancers haven't made the playoffs the last two seasons, so it would be no surprise somebody isn't happy. -- Eric Sondheimer
